Process documentation approach

We discussed the concept of having a managed change process for our standardization process. Instead of several presentations scattered, we can combine the agreed process and details on a single repository, and this repository should be managed, so that we can track the changes

Discussion points:

  • How to make the changes:
    • by entering issues into the backlog
    • the Validation Working Group will review the backlog of issues
    • every change that is in the scope of HL7 Belgium or the broad community can be handled in this process
    • changes that are specific to eHealth, or PB, etc. may or not be documented in this repository, but is not decided in the Validation Working Group
  • There are some pending questions on the ownership of the entire process, but those can be handled as we define the process.
  • The people in this call doesn't have great objections to the concept. Some remarks on governance on ownership.
  • Further discussions with the broader validation group are expected.
