FPS Health Data Capabilities Test Ateliers
- Audience:
- The Belgian hospitals (with their partners) selected with their project to participate in the FPS Health Data Capabilities program, will participate in this FHIR-A-THON within their project scope.
- BE FHIR-a-thon Objectives:
- Facilitate the execution of DataCaps FHIR Test Ateliers (as per prepared test cases)
- Verification process to confirm proper and effective FHIR testing for all DataCaps projects (as per test cases);
- Document observations, issues or questions from DataCaps project teams re: FHIR testing and present executive summary in ‘Test Atelier Feedback’ workshop on the second day of the FHIR-a-thon;
- Introduce a second challenge for the testing of cross-project FHIR interoperability cases towards an add-on call for proposal for cross-system FHIR interoperability solutions.
- Test Challenge 1: FHIR Test Verification
- Execute FHIR test cases as prepared and shared with FPS Health
- Demonstrate and discuss FHIR testing results for verification with eHealth

- Test Challenge 2: Cross-project FHIR Testing
- During the FHIR-a-thon, each DataCaps project (test team) will identify other projects that are (also) working on the same profiles and try to re-use the FHIR data in your test case. This will be possible:
- Based on the Project / Resource Matrix that is maintained by eHealth experts
- Making use of the test logging and files available from FHIR testing on the server
- Pre-requisites:
- Registration on FHIR test server for loading FHIR test files

- Select a timeslot with eHealth expert for FHIR testing verification
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Data Caps projectowners (and testteams) are expected to:
- Take note of FHIR testing observation and results for further development;
- Document and present a summary with feedback on FHIR testing results and issues (for Test Atelier Feedback – Tue a.m.);
- Includes FHIR testing results for Data Caps project reporting upcoming in December 2024.
