Agenda
- Review updates on examples
- Examples: volunteers ?
Minutes
- question on how to include messages on eHealth Box... ? to be clarified
- updates in the Lab report Guidance, see http://build.fhir.org/ig/hl7-be/hl7-be-fhir-laboratory-report/guidance.html
- how to refer to other resources: diagnostic report refers
- you can refer to a bundle or to a contained resource, or a logical reference
- see Guidance 3.13.& Minimal information concerning the subject: new information has been added concerning a FHIR logical reference i.e. we don't give a link where you can get the Patient, we don't give a path where the Patient might reside, we only give the patient's social scty number
- same logic for the laboratory
- how do we send all of this ?
- see 3.14.2 diagnostic reports in FHIR that are sent to eHealth boxes...
- all sent as contained or as bundles
- Bundle example : http://build.fhir.org/ig/hl7-be/hl7-be-fhir-laboratory-report/Bundle-HematologyStudiesAsBundleCollection.htmll : every entry in the bundle has its identifier
- Contained example: http://build.fhir.org/ig/hl7-be/hl7-be-fhir-laboratory-report/DiagnosticReport-DiagnosticReportHematologyStudiesEverythingContained.html
other previous meeting: feedback of HL7 international on https://build.fhir.org/ig/hl7-be/hl7-be-fhir-laboratory-report/Observation-obsDynamic1.xml.html
- what if we have a code in the element code and we need to express extra information like relative time, do we need to use an extension and is this the only option ? You can also use Components for that, you can qualify the central codes in an observation. HL7 International shall clarify this
- glucose is not a good example for that
- relativeTimeQualifier is now a component in the lab result profile
- LIS systems will produce content (bundles, contained,...): will the receivers be able to handle all this? This should not be so difficult to handle
examples for creatinine clearance & microbiology : have been provided by Benny, thanks for that ; Robin has worked on it, unfortunately not yet published due to HL7 technical issue, they will be published as soon as technical possible
- There are now more examples published, see them all on the bottom of the page:
- A possible solution can be: a laboratory report can be diagnostic report with FHIR instance and all will be there as contained resource. Let's discuss this next time
- Action points for next meeting:
- anyone willing to work on examples
Next Meeting: Monday April 19 April at 4PM, since April 5 is Easter Monday, as such next meeting is in 4 weeks
