- Can we use CTI-extended ?
- globally (VIDIS, allergy tolerance) we move to CTI-extended so we have to foresee this
- CTI-extended is linked to the reimbursement
- CTI-ext might be too detailed, vaccinet suggests to go to product level
- it is suggested that the FHIR profile supports multi coding - the business rules will have to be determined by RIZIV
- we should have maximum flexibility
- what about historical CNK codes ? Does SAMv2 have historical (depricated) CNK codes ?
- --> So, the Codeable concept should have the CTI-extended, CNK and ATC (=product category code)
- valueset of administeredProduct will have all CTI-extended, all CNK codes and all ATC codes
- Change in structure needed: change the extension from “value [x] only Reference” to “value[x] only CodeableConcept” ?

- CodeableConcept is necessary so FHIR profile has to be changed
- removing the reference to a Medication resource is not adviseable as we want to add it in the future
- CNK or CTI-extended will not be understood outside of Belgium
- within the CodeableConcept you can have several codings and slicing can be used
- a very big valueset is not adviseable
- we could have 3 valuesets (CNK, ATC, CTI-ext) which is advisable, slicing within the CodeableConcept is possible, valueset for ATC exists: www.whocc.no/atc
- Update on revision of Belgian valueset for vaccincodes that is being put together here
