Minutes
- As the users have been working on some options the hubs have been invited to today's meeting
- Pieter is introducing the Use case: radiologist request to access the medical images in their own workstation, preferably through the hubs
- Erwin is presenting the results from the working meetings with primarily the users community
- discovery of the images: should ideally going through the eHealth hubs
- images are present but not in a structured way: we hope that this will be resolved through the use of metadata
- list of available exams will be available to the hubs
- from the users' perspective: they have a viewer that points to the exam and will direct you to the images
- this is done by WADO
- downloading is possible, if you want to have the complete study in your system it will take a couple of minutes (unless it is a simple study)
- hospitals are already securely connected with the hubs
- Remark: there are 2 types of users at the hospital : referring physician & radiologist
- Conclusions:
- image discovery can go through the hubs
- retrieve images : through vendors or through the hubs
Action Items
- Key people to meet again to propose the way to go forward, everyone will be updated

- Another meeting will be set-up to align on the key persons' conclusions feedback - invite will follow soon
